Puzzles
Little Sister Puzzles are made by the folks at the Frykman Studio Gallery in Sister Bay, Door County, Wisconsin. David Frykman (with the help of Carole Frykman) design the patterns for the puzzle while we (Luke and Heather Frykman) mount our photographic prints on 3/16” birch plywood, then cut them into the unique shapes with a laser cutter. There are two designs available now: 'Door County' or ‘Aquarium.’ Puzzle sizes available are: 8"x12" with 211-224 pieces and 12"x16" with 377-401 pieces. Any of our photographic prints (or one of yours) can be made into a puzzle. A wooden box and a reference photo are included for 8x12 and 12x16 puzzles. Mini puzzles can be purchased with or without a box.

Lead time for frequently made/available puzzles is about one week. Please call us at the gallery to find out what is in stock for same or next day purchase.

Select your puzzle size (8x12 or 12x16)
Choose your design (Door County or Aquarium)
Click ‘Purchase,’ and a dialog box will pop up. Enter the photo title or if you are sending us your own photo write ‘customer photo,’ and send that to us by email with your order number. Your custom puzzle will be added to your cart.
The puzzle will be in a wooden box along with a reference photo.
Puzzles take about 1-2 weeks to make.

Door County Design
Door County design has puzzle pieces that relate to Door County such as lighthouses, the tower, Door County trolley, birds and animals, etc.
Aquarium Design
Aquarium design has puzzle pieces that relate to an aquarium such as fish, turtles, frogs, a treasure chest, scuba diver, etc.
